Faith Walker Trent, DDS

Faith Trent is the founder and inspiration of Faith Trent, DDS, and she leads her team, and tends to her patients, with her own brand of personal style and unlimited enthusiasm. It’s uncommon, but when you meet Faith you’ll see….rarely has there been a more energetic and expressive dentist than Faith! And that boundless positivity can be seen throughout her office…inspiring her team, and bringing peace, comfort, and smiles to their patients.

Faith’s family moved to Richmond from Martinsville when she was only 3 months old. She suspects her unique brand of “Southern Accent” was “picked up from my family, because I was so young when we left Martinsville.” Incredibly, Faith has only held two jobs her entire life…both of which “have taught valuable life lessons.” Before graduating from MCV School of Dentistry, Faith spent a number of years working for Ukrop’s, where she “learned all about the value of people skills,” important skills she utilizes today to help shape the culture of her business.

Faith’s been happily married to her husband, Dwight, since 1990! They have two wonderful children…son Redding, and daughter Sarah. And a third “child,” their purebred yellow Labrador retriever, “Daisy.” Redding has played the clarinet since 6th grade, and currently plays in the James River High School Marching Band called the REGIMENT. He is a budding mountain man…he loves outdoor camping trips, Summer time survival camps, mountain biking, and boating on his 12′ aluminum boat that was given to him by his Paternal Grandfather. Sarah enjoys coffee drinking, finding donut shops, and visiting the Farmer’s Market with her Dad, as well as trying a variety eclectic foods. Like her brother, she’s very active….plays all types of sports, including Basketball, Snowboarding, Skateboarding, and Wakeboarding. The whole family loves to spend time outdoors Mountain Biking together, and going to the beach in the Summer.

Faith has built a culture in her practice that totally reflects who she is…fun, honest, and full of energy! If you ever get the chance to meet Faith, be ready to make a new friend…and be sure to ask her about her love of building model cars and motorcycles growing up.
